Peter Rabbit

Toys sat in the corner of the room and the bed still wasn’t made
Down at the station Sir Topham Hatt was wrapping up his day
And Peter Rabbit in his light blue jacket made it home from the garden safe

Down in the city made of wooden blocks on the edge of the ocean blue
The freight trains ran to the harbor docks and the shipyard’s tired crews
There in the cabin was the tugboat captain on a weekday after school

And all was right in the world
All was right in the world

The flat tire was a big repair but older brother knew what to do
And after watching him a few more times little bro could fix one too
They pedaled fast doing neighborhood laps on the patched up inner tubes

And all was right in the world
All was right in the world
All was right in the world
All was right in the world

Time flew like the paper planes when they caught the summer breeze
And touched down right across the yard just in time for some iced tea
You never know it in the moment when you’re making memories

And all is right in the world
All is right in the world
All is right in the world
All is right in the world
